PRICES AND CLASS INFO:
Private Lessons (1 hour)
• 1st Private Lesson (Weekday): $70
• Follow-up Lesson (Weekday): $50
• On Weekends: $80 / $60

Group Lessons (2 hours)
• 1st Group Lesson (Weekday): $70
• Follow-up Lesson (Weekday): $50
• On Weekends: $80 / $60
• Special rates are available for groups of over 15 people: 10% off for 6-10, 15% off for 10 or more people.
• Group lessons always have at least 1 instructor for every 3 students.
• Prices quoted are per-person prices

We recommend the Group Lessons for the average beginner. Private lessons are better for children under 10 years old and for more experienced surfers.

All equipment is included. We use SoftTop surfboards by Surftech, the best soft-deck surfboard available, and the best 1st board for new surfers.

Class Times
Class times are scheduled according to tides, and change daily. Just send us an email with your chosen date, and we'll get back to you with the available times for that date, or check our calendar to register for an already-scheduled class.

We've provided feeds from various places here so you can get an idea about the current weather and surf conditions here in Santa Cruz.

Santa Cruz is a relatively temperate area year-round, with fairly cold ocean temperatures. Water temperatures here range from the low 50s to low 60s, depending on the season. Wetsuits are usually required, and we provide wetsuits for all our students, along with Surftech SofTop surfboards.

Weather here in the summer usually ranges between the mid 50s at night to the mid 70s during the day. Winter temps can dip into freezing, but very rarely. Many winter days in Santa Cruz are bright and sunny... and crystal clear.
